We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the BE SafER @ European School Radio 2026 initiative, which was held for the second consecutive year for schools in Greece. The Evaluation Committee carefully and thoughtfully reviewed the creations of the student groups.
The members of the Committee were:
- Panagiotis Mavronas – Educator, certified career counselor, and collaborator on a radio program at ERT Corfu
- Eleni Papaioannou – Journalist at ERT Corfu
- Eleni Papagiannopoulou – Educator, member of the Scientific Society of European School Radio, former radio producer
- Apostolos Paraskevas – Education Consultant, Coordinator of the “Internet Safety” Network
- Konstantinos Rafail Pagkalos – Journalist at Politic.gr & European School Radio
Emmanouil Sofos – Education Consultant
Among the 24 podcast series submitted this year, the following five stood out and are awarded thematic distinctions based on specific evaluation criteria.

The awards were presented during the Podcast Awards Ceremony at the Ionian Academy on Saturday, April 25, 2026, as part of the 10th European School Radio Student Radio Festival.
The two schools from Corfu—the Potamos Kindergarten and the Corfu Old Town Primary School—attended the ceremony and received their distinctions from ERT Corfu journalist and member of the evaluation committee, Ms. Eleni Papaioannou.
