The Story Behind Our Broadcast
On Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, the 6th Grade of the Primary School of Bielefeld carried out an educational visit to the Primary School of Dortmund as part of the school activities program, with the goal of producing our radio broadcast. This initiative offered our students a unique experience of collaboration, creativity, and hands-on learning.
Upon our arrival, we received a warm welcome and immediately began preparing for the recording process. In cooperation with Ms. Vasileia Dilaveri, teacher of the 1st Grade, we first conducted a test recording to check the technical equipment and make the necessary adjustments. After the appropriate corrections and improvements, we proceeded with the final recording, successfully completing our project.
This activity gave students the opportunity to experience firsthand the process of producing a radio show, to practice teamwork, and to develop communication, responsibility, and collaboration skills. The 6th Grade students worked with seriousness and consistency, proving that with proper preparation and team spirit, the result can be outstanding.
We would like to express our warmest thanks to Ms. Vasileia Dilaveri for her valuable help, guidance, and essential support throughout the entire process, without which the completion of the broadcast would not have been possible. We also extend special thanks to the School Principal, Mr. Giorgos Laskaraki, for the warm welcome and heartfelt hospitality.
This experience will remain unforgettable for our students, not only as a joyful and inspiring creative school activity, but as a moment of meaningful collaboration. The children’s smiles and enthusiasm during the recording were the most beautiful reward for their effort. We hope this collaboration marks the beginning of many more joint activities that will bring our schools closer together and cultivate in our students a love for creativity, communication, and collective effort.
