For 13 consecutive years of active presence in student radio, consistently participating in competitions, broadcasts, and festivals.
Youth Radio Pioneers – Kids Radio Europe
This year, we also presented special distinctions to the youth radio groups from Bernis (Les Francas Organization, France), Bonn (TJFBG Organization, Germany), and the Radio Girls of the Junior and Senior High School of Neos Marmaras, representing European School Radio.
Together, they inaugurate the platform Youthradio.eu, the new European youth radio network, with the support of the International Hellenic University.
Honorable Mention to Mr. Vasileios Soliopoulos
In a particularly emotional moment, an Honorable Mention was awarded to Mr. Vasileios Soliopoulos, journalist and member of ESIEM-TH (Journalists’ Union of Macedonia and Thrace Daily Newspapers), in recognition of his longstanding contribution to the development and support of Student Radio.
Since the 2014–2015 school year, Mr. Soliopoulos has been a consistent and invaluable supporter of our efforts, offering journalistic guidance and mentoring to school radio teams as part of the Educational Program of Thessaloniki. Over the years, he has actively participated in workshops, conferences, and seminars organized by European School Radio, helping to strengthen the educational and communicative role of student broadcasting.
His commitment to fostering journalistic skills among students and his dedication to promoting free expression have made a lasting impact on the community of European School Radio.
