February 13th has been established as World Radio Day. European School Radio aligns itself with UNESCO’s themes and explores one of the greatest challenges of our time: How is Artificial Intelligence (AI) transforming radio?
The special broadcast we are preparing aims to analyze how the rapid development of technology is reshaping the communication landscape, content creation, and the listening experience.
Student Debate:
At the heart of the broadcast is the Student Debate. Students from the 1st Highschool (GEL) of Sindos and the 4th Highschool (GEL) of Stavroupoli will face off on UNESCO’s official themes.
International Collaborations and European Perspective
On this day, we will be joined by partners from Germany and France. The guests will speak about their work and their international collaboration with European School Radio, while sharing their own views on how AI is affecting the radio medium in their countries.
Activities at the International Hellenic University (IHU)
At the IHU campus in Sindos, activities specifically designed for the educational community will take place. Students will have the opportunity to come into contact with the world of radio and experiment with the use of audio technologies.
