I am an English language teacher working in Secondary Education Greek public schools and permanently residing in Kalamata, a city in the south of Greece.

I studied English Language and English and European Literature at Essex University, UK (Bachelor of Arts) and followed with a postgraduate degree in Translation at Surrey University, UK (Master of Arts). I have been working as a Secondary Education English Language teacher in public schools since 2005 . Having lived in England for 4 years, I am proficient in the English language, but apart from my native Greek, I also speak Spanish (B2).

I am particularly interested in interactive learning techniques (gamification, drama, digital tools, etc.). I love making language learning fun for my students. I am also interested in environmental education and art and I have trained in environmental and art projects with children.

My interests in my free time include dancing (swing and traditional Greek folk dances), volunteering and travelling.
