3.Decide on your shows
Decide on your broadcasts
It’s time for your radio team to decide in the show(s) to broadcast this year on ESR. If your group is large you can split into subgroups and do separate shows. You can do short or long, periodic or special, recorded or live broadcasts. In summary, the types of shows you can do are:
-
Short radio message ~ 3′
-
Short thematic broadcast ~ 15 minutes
-
Half-hour broadcast ~ 27′
-
Long show (1 hour) / Special show (1 hour) ~ 57′
-
Long programme (2 hours) / Special programme (2 hours) ~ 1:54′
The short thematic programmes (STS), which are less than 15 minutes in length, will be broadcast each week in order of seniority in the specific thematic hours, as shown below:
-
Monday 16:00-17:00 Environment & health
-
Tuesday 16:00-17:00 Music
-
Wednesday 16:00-17:00 Science & Technology
-
Thursday 16:00-17:00 Cinema – Theatre – Book – Culture
-
Friday 16:00-17:00 Student – Sports – Local News
-
Saturday 13:00-14:00 Social – Education
-
Sunday 11:00-12:00 Fairytale Town
The short thematic programmes (STS) will be played continuously in the radio programme until they are replaced by newer ones.
