USING RADIO & PODCASTS IN CLASS

How to involve radio activities in curriculum.

A series of three podcasts to introduce teachers in the art of podcasting for educational purposes! Podcasts have unique advantages. They feature authentic language, real conversations, and diverse voices. They’re designed to catch the ear and hold attention in a way that feels almost magical. They cover a wide variety of topics—everything from stories, to history, to mindfulness, science, music, literature etc. Help students stay engaged and better focused on course content, may be adopted instead of written assignments, and they are more conducive with “flipped classroom” practice. Moreover, podcasts support multilingual learning, shape students’ brain and memory while are a great way to explore current events. For educators, introducing podcasting production in the classroom is a mean of improving their teaching.
