The “Kids Radio Europe” first meeting for the Steering Committee<\/strong> was held in Paris<\/strong> on the 26th and 27th of March 2024<\/strong>. This promising 2-year project, co-funded and supported by Creative Europe<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>, will involve students, kids, adolescents, youth educators (journalists, sound engineers), and teachers in on-site or online activities for the radio. Les Francas<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong> in France, as the coordinators of this project, hosted the kick-off meeting in which we thoroughly discussed the strategy, management, and activity plan. Les Radios Francas<\/span><\/span><\/span>, a famous radio for kids in France, now joins forces with European School Radio<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong> based in Greece for better experiences!<\/span><\/p>\n

Eftychia Touliou<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Chairperson, and Notis Yenitzes<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Founding Member & CTO, represented our organization, which closely collaborated for several years with the International Hellenic University<\/span><\/span><\/span>, represented by Kostas Diamantaras<\/strong>, Vice-Rector for Internationalization, Public Relations, and Electronic Government, and Marina Delianidi<\/strong>, PhD Candidate.<\/span><\/p>\n

We, as the partners in Greece, will contribute both at the technological and the educational level, and the Technische Jugendfreizeit- und Bildungsgesellschaft (tjfbg) gGmbH<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong> from Germany will get involved in applying radio projects in their framework of action.<\/span><\/p>\n

May this project serve as a bridge connecting cultures, ideas, and voices across France, Germany, and Greece.<\/span><\/p>\n
