The conference titled “Information and Misinformation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”<\/strong><\/span> organized by the Region of Central Macedonia, the Journalists’ Union of Macedonia and Thrace (ESIEM-TH), and the School of Journalism and Mass Communications of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki,<\/strong> will take place on Friday, March 7, <\/strong> Conference Hall of the Region of Central Macedonia (FIX).<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Scientific Society “European School Radio, The First Student Radio” supports this innovative initiative, which aims to cultivate a culture of active citizenship, where individuals are well-informed and utilize information with critical thinking in a world where everything is increasingly questioned.<\/span><\/p>\n

Secondary schools in Eastern and Western Thessaloniki that run Journalism or Radio Clubs or develop School Activity Programs related to radio can participate with small groups of students accompanied by a teacher.<\/span><\/p>\n

The topics relevant to junior or senior<\/strong> high schools<\/strong> are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

11:30-12:30 | Public Fears and a New (?) Code of Ethics<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

12:30-13:30 | Generation Z and Misinformation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

14:30-16:00 | Debunking Fake News<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
