Continuing the presentation of the new features of the brand new European School Radio platform, we will make a short introduction to its social features here! Information for several of these can be found in the „Participation Guide<\/a>” menu and in the „Promote your show<\/a>” option<\/p>\n

The social features are almost everywhere in the platform. In this post we will focus to those found in the „Community<\/a>” menu option.<\/p>\n

Your personal „wall”<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

If you are not logged in you can view \u00a0Announcements and <\/a>Community <\/a>News<\/a>, the public „feed” of member activity<\/a>, member profiles<\/a>, Groups<\/a>,\u00a0 participating schools<\/a>. and articles posted on the community blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n

From the moment you log in as a community member, all the possibilities of the social features are opened!<\/p>\n

First of all, did you know that you have a „wall”, (to which you set the visibility of your posts from „Public” to „Only me”), where you can post the activity of your students’ radio group? Do you know that you can also send friend requests to the approximately 2,300 registered members to network with like-minded colleagues? That you can „like” posts and radio shows making them „visible” to a larger audience?<\/p>\n

Do you know that you can create groups with your friends and expand your collaboration network? Groups can be private or public and you can also use them with your students to exchange educational materials and messages!<\/p>\n

And of course you can post articles on the platform blog, which will be published on the front page of the Community and with the appropriate Category and Tag selection they can appear in other places of our platform, as well. In this way you will give impetus and publicity to your actions to a wide audience.<\/p>\n

In the authoring environment you can also find tools for creating H5P content, such as interactive videos, Quizzes, text with spaces, Drag and drop activities with words or images, Images with hotspots and many more possibilities, all free and suitable to use in the classroom with your students!<\/p>\n

In addition,\u00a0you can share your articles and publications on your social networks, by tagging European School Radio in your publications, or by posting directly to the Facebook Contact Group.<\/a><\/p>\n

The social networks in which you will find publications from the Management team and the promotion team of European School Radio, and in which you can tag us, are the following: Facebook page<\/a>, Instagram<\/a>\u00a0ESR Twitter<\/a>. and TikTok<\/a>.<\/p>\n
