A truly unique experience was the participation of the students and educators of the school radio team of the Junior High \u2013 High School of Neos Marmaras, Halkidiki, in the Festival for the Rights of the Child<\/strong>, which took place in Paris from October 19 to 25, 2024<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This initiative was part of the Creative Europe<\/strong> programme and was implemented under the title \u00abKids Radio Europe\u00bb<\/strong>. The school participates actively in the programme, representing Greece through the European School Radio<\/strong> and the 13\u201318 age group.<\/span><\/p>\n

During their stay in the French capital, the students and educators took part in a wide range of educational and artistic activities, exchanging experiences and good practices with peers and educators from other European countries. A particularly memorable moment was their participation in the theatrical radio performance \u00abRadiosalata\u00bb<\/strong>, held on the stage of the \u00ab104\u00bb<\/strong> cultural center, as well as their active involvement in the creation of podcasts and other collaborative projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

The knowledge and inspiration gained from this experience are expected to be creatively utilized in the preparation of the 9th Student Radio Festival<\/strong>, which will take place from April 9 to 12, 2025<\/strong>, with the participation of schools from the region of Sithonia and the cooperation of the programme\u2019s partners.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are especially delighted to welcome the youth groups from the organizations Les Francas<\/strong> (France) and tjfbg gGmbH<\/strong> (Germany) to our upcoming festival, with whom we already share a productive dialogue and joint artistic ventures.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presence of our students and educators in Paris was highly beneficial and made us all proud. We warmly congratulate them on their meaningful and active participation and wish them continued success in their creative initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n
