Our partners in France, <strong>\u201cLes Francas\u201d<\/strong>, who collaborate with us in the European program <strong>Kids Radio Europe<\/strong>, have invited schools in our network to participate in the project of their local partners, <strong>\u201cFrancas des Landes.\u201d<\/strong> These partners recently joined the Kids Radio Europe program and are implementing a local initiative called <strong>\u201cColl\u00e9giens Citoyens\u201d<\/strong> [\u201cStudent Citizens\u201d] in the Landes department (western France). This initiative offers students in the Landes region a unique opportunity to host and manage a media platform run entirely by students within their schools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The theme of this year\u2019s <strong>\u201cStudent Citizens\u201d<\/strong> program is: <strong>\u201cEngagement with European Youth.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The project seeks active collaboration opportunities between middle school students in France and their European peers. The aim is to facilitate communication and cooperation on shared projects focusing on radio production, media education, and information literacy skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"flex max-w-full flex-col flex-grow\">\n<div class=\"min-h-8 text-message flex w-full flex-col items-end gap-2 whitespace-normal break-words text-start [.text-message+&amp;]:mt-5\" dir=\"auto\" data-message-author-role=\"assistant\" data-message-id=\"f77cb5cc-f85a-445c-9c5d-5efd26311866\" data-message-model-slug=\"gpt-4o\">\n<div class=\"flex w-full flex-col gap-1 empty:hidden first:pt-[3px]\">\n<div class=\"markdown prose w-full break-words dark:prose-invert light\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Through this initiative, youth participation in the program will be strengthened by multiplying online exchanges between European groups.
