\"\"<\/strong>During the 2024\u20132025 school year, the Cultural Affairs School Activities Program titled \u201cI Do Radio on European School Radio \u2013 Getting Ready for the 9th Student Radio Festival\u201d was developed at the Gymnasium of Neos Marmaras, as part of the project Kids Radio Europe (GAP 101136199 \/ CREA-CROSS-2023-MEDIA LITERACY), with the guidance of Mrs Afroditi Gavriilidou, Principal of the School <\/span><\/p>\n

The program involved 23 students from the Gymnasium and 4 female students from the Lyceum of Neos Marmaras. Four radio teams were formed, and each team was responsible for producing a scheduled half-hour broadcast every month.<\/span><\/p>\n

All episodes were recorded in the school\u2019s small radio studio during after-school hours. <\/span><\/p>\n

They <\/span>also participated in the educational program \u201cBroadcasting on European School Radio \u2013 Journalistic Production,\u201d contributing a live one-hour tribute to Stelios Kazantzidis. You can listen to the tribute at the following link:<\/span>

THE LITTLE RESEARCHERS<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

A very enthusiastic team of 1st Grade Gymnasium students who all participated passionately in their radio productions. They created four half-hour shows on topics such as modern research in Medicine, Space, and Food. Their final broadcast was a report they conducted themselves on impressions from the 9th Student Radio Festival.<\/span><\/p>\n

This group consisted of 8 girls from both the Gymnasium and Lyceum of Neos Marmaras. During the 2024\u201325 school year, they produced four radio shows with the following topics: Heroines of 1821, A tribute to Ariana Grande and Beyonc\u00e9, Songs from Greek Cinema, and Chalkidiki: The Ultimate Tourist Destination.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"This team represented European School Radio in the KIDS RADIO EUROPE<\/strong> program, alongside students from France and Germany. As part of the program, they traveled to Paris for 6 days (October 19\u201325, 2024)<\/strong>. While preparing for their visit, they practiced podcast production and recorded several short podcasts on various topics such as: quotes from the Greek TV show \u201cPara Pente,\u201d the story behind the song \u201cFragosyriani,\u201d proverbs, exploring Chalkidiki, and excerpts from literary books.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Paris, they met students from France and Germany, got to know one another, communicated through various activities, and participated in the FRANCAS Festival for Children\u2019s Rights<\/strong>. The three teams met again for 6 days (April 7\u201313, 2025), in Thessaloniki and Neos Marmaras<\/strong>, where they took part in the 9th Student Radio Festival of ESR<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a joint radio team<\/strong> comprising the RADIOGIRLS, the German, and French teams, they created a trilingual podcast<\/strong>, which they submitted to the „Make it Heard 2025“<\/strong> competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participation of the Gymnasium and Lyceum of Neos Marmaras in the European program Kids Radio Europe was not merely a series of creative activities, but a valuable experience in learning, collaboration, and cultural exchange.<\/strong> Students had the opportunity to open their microphones and their minds, to work as young journalists and radio producers, to share their ideas through the power of sound, and to discover that their voices carry value and resonance beyond the borders of their country. Their interaction with peers from other European countries, their involvement in international events and festivals, and the collaborative creation of content have laid the foundations for the future of the educational community of Neos Marmaras. This initiative stands as a powerful example of how a school can transform into a living laboratory of expression, creativity, and European coexistence.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
